one day in san francisco and then in santa cruz we fell across some short conversations with people that amused me:
just leaving CITY LIGHTS BOOKSTORE. man says; "excuse me im drunk...(silence)...can i reccomend a book?"
in the tipical touristy area in san francisco (the warf and peir 39), an area you see in every town, no different, nothing but stupid shops and food, soon to be left behind by us. women says; "this is everything i thought it would be, and more!"
driving around downtown santa cruz, looking for the VETS HALL for some local show we found. in response to our question of where it might be? man says; "i dont know, im english."

wow, i havnt written in this in a while.
ive been pretty busy lately.
i quit my other job the other day.
i work every week day now at longs though.
kinda boring.
but its money.
i dont get home till late late.
actaully im only home to sleep and the times i dont have anything planed for the weekend.
i usualy have things going on on weekends.
i like staying busy.
it gets stressfull though sometimes.
my eye has been twitching off and on; lack of sleep and stress i suppose.
adam was in town last week.
i spent as much time with him as i could.
it could have been better, like always.
he wont be back till january; my birthday.
18th birthday that is.
thats when i will be done with highschool.
see, im graduating early.
i think thats better then middle college.
dont need to deal with them, can do school on my own time and my own way.
i dont think im want to go to college right away.
i dont see why i need to.
i want to live life.
travel.
traveling will give me knowlege.
a different knowlege then wasting my life in a class room.
ill still go to college.
hopefully make a good career out of it.
we'll see.
cant be sure of much right away.
but who needs to be.
not now.
i live for now.
im on spring break now.
i have somehting to do tomorrow.
and the next day.
maybe on wedsday too.

so
i put a blue and white zebra print seat on my dirtbike. it also has a hot pink kawasaki logo.
its pretty sweet.
old school 'early '90s baby.
my friend is visiting in a few weeks. hate to say it but i cant wait!
i might be getting another job at longs.
i need to start saving up money for a costa rica trip next year.
shit! any ideas on fundraising for that? i need about $3000 |

man, you dont know how exciting htis is for me owning my first dirtbike.
'94 kdx 200
i so ganna pimp out my bike.
i have a blue zebra print seat cover coming.
possibly painting the plastics flat black.
ganna have to leave the frame green, its too difficutly to get around to paint.
design some decail to paint onto it.
put some spikes
etc
some ideas
so the guys in the back in the service area of the kawasaki shop said they would teach me new stuff about bikes and shit every time i visit. cant wait! |

alright.
so finally got to go dirtbike riding this morning. and i got to ride my future bike, my moms KDX200. oh baby does that have enough power for me. i still need to work on my turns and feeling out the bike though. its exciting. went to upper/lower osos this time.
so ive started running in the morning as well as at night now. i run the track at my school before school, then i run during P.E., when we can garnet and i run instead of activities for P.E. all together we have about 4 miles done in the morning, half of it walking half running. its great. although i cant wash up and im gross and sweaty all day, its still an energy boost. im still running my mile at night. i have a few more months on my gym membership and after that i will be able just to run outside and stuff. sadly i havnt gotten the resluts i wanted yet. yes im am healthier but my body doesnt look good. i think a big part of that is i eat to much still!
garnet and i are making vegan pizza right now. oh baby oh baby. a whole wheat, honey, rosmary, seasamy seed, dough. a garlic tomatoe sauce. all topped off with onions, garlic, tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, and zuccini. mmmm
gah i dont know what to write about. i suck at this stuff.
starting to try a bunch new hikes almost every week. our last one wasnt that great. my book said it was one of santa barbaras favorite. but it has hit one of my least favorites. it was raddlesnake trail. its kinda boring, and doesnt have a final great destination. oh well.

hmm...well its been a little while....
heres an short update....
1) my family has found out about my tattoo. it hasnt been pleasant. oh joy
2) im working out my legs too much, im getting pains in them, but im working out my stomach too less, i have yet to get close to what i want.
3) i need a new job
4) i need to start thinking on a life long career/interest
5) we still havnt found a place to move to
6) adam will be home in march
7) still have only gone riding once this season. this is pissing me off!!
8) im 17 now
9) last semister in highschool!
10) two things to keep in mind: "dont think about it so much" & "flirting is mandatory" |

the start of a week birthday. my first official birthday dinner with my mom tonight. our friend and neighbor wayne showed up and payed for our meal, and bought me 3 deserts. oh dang! im sooo full. it was fun. now my cool buddy garnet is ganna pick me up on her rad bycicle (im ganan ride in the basket, oh baby) and we are ganan go watch a movie and drink some wine. |

so the "j" on my tattoo is crooked. ugh, oh well, when i get it toughed up later on, maybe i can fix it....
"it could represent that nothings perfect, and remind you that you dont need to be perfect"
i liked that, so thats what i'll keep in mind for now till i decide wheather or not to fix it down the road.

well the tahoe trip was alright.
it rained alot at first.
once it finally snowed alot we were able to go snowboarding for my first time. yay
it was all about drinking, smoking, new years, playing in the snow, hitch hiking for the first time and being ignored by the family i was staying with.
all together it was an alright trip. next time i go, i will drive there and stay with garnet and her friends.
i think i got semi frost bite on my toes. haha |

going to los gatos for a couple Of days with the family
then up to lake tahoe for a week or so with some friends!

christmas party for my work today. it was alright.
my secret santa got me a sweater...woot woot
i won $120 through some game...SWEET!
i got a shot glass and some rum cake through another game. yay!
oh and one of my co-workers secretly game me some bud for christmas. haha
so i got a letter referring to middle college. i am being put on a waiting list for this spring semister; if anyone decides to drop it anytime soon, and i have a guaranteed spot for this fall. so my senior year will definitly be at the city college. i cant wait! |

well the island trip with sparky and garnet didnt turn out like we wanted it to be.
the weather turned bad on us and once we got to the island we had to leave right away.
we will try again another time.
most exciting park about sailing out there was..... we sailed at night and the water was red tide which ment all the fish and waves glowed. there was a point when you get the dolphins surfing with the boat. it was amazing; in the pitch dark water we watched florecent dolphins racing with the boat. it was like a dream. they glowed in the dark, every outline of them glowed, as they swam they left a trail of florecent green following them. as they approached the boat from a far you could see a torpedo type glow coming straigh tfo rhte boat. you could here them wistling as well. i loved it.
because we didnt get to stay on the island, when we got back to the harbor we hopped the near hotles pool/jacuzzi. after that we went back to the boat and put some music on and made dinner. fun stuff.
oh and by the way....BRACES SUCK |
